The Magic Formula

So I keep looking for the magic story outline that pumps out great stories.
Basically my question this Wednesday is:

1. Do you know of an outline that you like?

2. Do you know of any formulaic book series or genres?

3. Would you even consider using a magic formula if it did exist?
