MY TURN!

by Shelly Brown

Chad and I got tagged four times in four days and so we are teeter-tottering the the tags this week.

These questions are Alyssa's at Life is Good

1. What is your favorite holiday?

Halloween for fun. Christmas for joy.

2. Who is your idol?

You. I mean it. I'm not just saying that. It's really you. That's why we hang out here so much. It's because I really look up to you. There is no one in the whole wide world that is just like you. I idolize that.

And the Jonas Brothers.

3. If you could visit any place in the world where would you go?

I would go and visit my sister in Ghana. She could probably use a familiar face to cheer her day.

4. What's your favorite genre?

John Ra. An art student and my favorite answer to this question.

5. What or who has inspired your writing the most?

Brandon Mull- that publication is possible
Shannon Hale- stories with action, heart, and a princess, to boot!

6. If you could choose any superpower what would you have?

The power to be truly outrageous (truly, truly, truly outrageous)

7. If you had to be a villain, who would it be? Why?

My friend Robin is writing me into one of her stories as the villain. I’m a witch and I couldn’t be prouder J

8. What is your favorite animal?

Sea Otters. Floating on their back in the sunshine. Or my brother-in-law just introduced me to his favorite reptile, the pygmy chameleon.

9.What is your favorite food?

White Chocolate Coconut Lindt Bar

10.Who is your favorite author?

Chad.

11. What is your biggest fear?

That I will lose my self-control and lose myself in the process. I shape me and I would hate to have that power taken from me.

Readers: If you feel so inclined, pick one of these questions and answer it in the comments section. Might I suggest finding another John Ra? ;)

    1. To be recognized for the genius that I am. I don't get the respect I deserve and such indignities fuel my anger to action.
And chocolate. I will do anything for chocolate.

    1. I think she loves Africa like you love Africa. They lived in South Africa for a year and now, Ghana. Her husband is a business consultant and she is a nurse. They want to use their vision and skills to make a difference in Ghana (with the help of some Ghanaian friends of theirs). They're bright people and I hope they are successful.

  11. I love me some white chocolate. And sea otters as seriously adorable. One of the females at the Seattle Aquarium just got pregnant while she was on birth control. Yep, another reason why they rock! : )

  12. I can't remember exactly what I wanted to say a couple of days ago, but still.
If your sister is in Ghana then she is very close to where I was born and raised: Togo :)
