Books are for Lovers

Lisa Asanuma is starting a movement.

A revolution.

Kinda like the one pictured above but in color and at your neighborhood bookstore.

She's asking people to buy a book at a bookstore tomorrow
She wants to challenge the online market a little and support the brick and mortars.
To read her explanation go HERE
Then go and do it.

FOR THE LOVE OF BOOKS
DO IT!

  1. Hi Shelly and Chad! I'm also a kidlit writer. Yesterday I bought a book (at a bookstore). Not quite Valentine's day, but hope that counts!

    Cheers,

    1. It's not much of a push, telling bookaholics to buy a book...actually, I guess that would make me a pusher. ;)

    1. It's kind of a no-brainer, huh? "Go buy books" "Umm, OK!"

  6. I love my local bookstores. And I was so dang sad when the Boarders nearby went out of business. Kind of like in that movie You've Got Mail. I LOVE me a good book like some men love looking at loose ladies on the internet. (That's alliteration for ya.)

We have an adorable little 'You've Got Mail' bookstore in my area, too.
