I am thrilled at how well my fundraising efforts were
and that is thanks to you, my friends and family
So without further ado....
Shelly's head shaving
(warning: I am making a weird face in almost everyone of these pictures.)
Some of my family before the shave.
Tyson holding tight to his Phineas and Ferb band-aids
The shavees! With Tyson holding the tiger in the middle.
My girl cousins and my aunt.
The boys...and me?
The hair.
Big thanks to my cousin Jenny who inspired me to go all Sinead-y for a good cause.
My site will be live for another week to take any last minute donations
Way to go! What a wonderful cause...do you like how your head feels??

ReplyDeleteAmazing! Wow! You look gorgeous inside and out!
ReplyDeleteIs it liberating? It seems like it would be liberating!
ReplyDeleteNow you will need to do a post about all the cute hats you are going to wear for the freezing Utah winter!
I just want to say I think this is (and you are!) amazing. I seriously got all choked up when I saw these pictures. I couldn't give much, but I couldn't NOT give at all. Sending prayers and happy thoughts to Tyson and your whole family!

ReplyDeleteWow, hair really isn't that important. You guys are awesome! I didn't forget about donating. Car died. But will do today.

ReplyDeleteYou all look beautiful!! Looks like it was an incredible day.
ReplyDeleteWow, Shelly. I never realized how beautiful bald is before.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely shape to you head, btw.
Yay for wash and go!
ReplyDeleteBecause for some reason I can't respond to your comments through my email, I have to write you back here.
ReplyDeleteShelly wrote to Angie: I'll tell you a movie that follows most but not all of those. Angel. Anyone ever seen that one?
Angie writes back to Shelly: The movie I was talking about was Lorna Doone, but I will agree ANGEL was HORRID! I can't think of a more abhorrent MC than the MC in Angel--both the hero and heroine actually!
You are fabulously beautiful! Seriously, you are made up of pure awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. Your support means a lot. And a big thanks to all of those who held back their 'You're crazy' comments. Thanks to both of y'all!
ReplyDeleteHoly moly -- that big pic made me all sniffly and misty-eyed. What a wonderfully loving thing to do.

ReplyDeleteI've been dying to comment here... but I told myself I had to donate before I had the privilege of doing so :)
ReplyDeleteYou, my dear, are simply amazing.
I see some other criers besides myself here. It just makes my heart swell, Shelly and all the beautiful bald people.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I know this post was ages ago but since I only recently discovered your blog, I just found this post and I'm amazed! You and your family/friends are amazing and I'm awestruck that you all shaved your heads! So cool!
