Here is my list of books I read cover-to-cover in 2011. If we counted books I read a chapter here, a chapter there (most non-fiction that I read) or started but never finished (for one reason or another) this list would be much longer. As it is I KNOW it doesn't hold a candle to some of your lists but I find these lists amusing so I'm doing it anyways.
Beyonders
Twelfth Night
The Barcode Tattoo
Enna Burning
The Thing That Keep Us Here
The Comedy of Errors
Wonderwings and Other Fairy Stories
The Princess and The Goblin
Magyk
The Princess of the Glass

The Witch on Blackbird Pond
Nancy Drew and the Dollhouse

If you're curious what I thought about any particular book or whatnot just ask in the comments and I'll tell you. But with this many books I figured that my commentary would get...well...long.
This is a massive list! Puts me to shame.
ReplyDeleteNot heard of a lot of these - apart from the classics of course. And I include Harry Potter as a classic. : )
Thanks for the list. I always love to get a list that I could possibly glean from. :) BTW, you and Chad have won the Versatile Blogger award. Come to Livetowrite1.blogspot.com and check it out! ;)
ReplyDeleteHoly WOW! That's is an awesome list of books! I hope to have one like that after 2012! Love finding good books!
ReplyDeleteI love the assortment of books on your list. Different subject matters, "grown-up" books, kid books. So awesome!
ReplyDeleteI've read some of those, but only one of them last year: Maze Runner. What a fun list!
ReplyDeleteUh, there are at least 5 on my "To be read" list, but I am ashamed to say I didn't read any of them yet. I'm especially ashamed about Beyonders, because I got it from the library twice, and my kids read it. I just had a long year! I DID hear Brandon Dorman did the new Goosebumps art, and I think that's awesome! I love this list, though, and have picked up at least 5 more for my TBR list. *sigh* We'll see how that goes!
ReplyDeleteWell, I've read 8 of them, though a couple I didn't read in 2011.
ReplyDeleteTwo of the same, lol.
ReplyDeleteEmma and The Next Door Boys ;-)
I think I read somewhere close to a 100 books last year, though. That has to count for something, lol.
I've read 10 of them, but not last year. And I think my list is about a third of what yours is . . . unless I can count picture books I read to our three-year-old.

ReplyDeleteNice list! I've read 4 of them out of the 100+ I read last year.
ReplyDeleteSix for me. I wish that number was higher!
ReplyDeleteI've only read six. Makes me feel like I'm missing out!
ReplyDeleteHow was Slathbogs Gold? I like dragons, but I'm wary of some books... :)
ReplyDeleteFifteen! Oh yeah, baby.
ReplyDeleteWow. You win this round, Chad. I sadly think I read less than 10 books cover to cover this year.
ReplyDeleteMovies watched, on the other hand. . .
Let's try that again, only coherently this time:
ReplyDeleteI've read 5 of them, but none of them in 2011. I think I read just about as many books as you did last year, though. (Kind of mindboggling how many books there are...)
I love that the Daily Life of Jesus and the Amazing Powers of Spiderman are right next to each other on the list. Now THAT is well read :)
ReplyDeleteI love love love The Witch of Black Bird Pond! And I think I counted like seven of the same books.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap. I'm seriously amazed.
ReplyDeleteI love the the wide range of subjects you managed to cover :-)
ReplyDeleteThe curious incident of the dog in the night-time is one that I re-read at least once a year.
