I'm probably going to be late to my Acting Shakespeare class so that I can write this post. *shakes head at self*
This illustrates my point very well.
I am not always the best student.
Inside my Complete Works of Shakespeare I found this quiz from high school.
Warning, I didn't study but that didn't stop me from answering.
Clearly the person grading it (a student) was a friend and just being nice.
In fact I think I did the quiz just to make them laugh, I knew that I hadn't studied.
(don't look at the date, it makes me feel old)
LOL! I love finding gems like this :) You have obviously been funny forever...+2 for style!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha, ha, ha, So I looked at the date just because you said not to. I know, horrible, hopefully you wont burn out my eyes. Just kidding.
ReplyDeleteOk so this is pretty funny. You are one lucky duck to have a friend or someone grade your paper. :)
This made me chuckle. Especially the part about language being used to bore and torture school kids.
ReplyDeleteSo true!
Hilarious! I love your answer for the author of The Eagle. Good stuff. :)
ReplyDelete"The function of poetry is sometimes to be long rather than interesting."
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more :)
This is absolutely amazing. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely amazing. :)
ReplyDeleteI have earned a degree in the University of Hard Knocks, Iza B Bruised. I hear it's not much to brag about but it shows off well ;D
ReplyDeleteHah! That's pretty awesome-funny!
ReplyDeleteHey, I have an award for you, lovely! ;)
Oh, Shelly! I so wish I could see more of your assignments!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious. I wonder what a TA would have done with it.
Shelly Brown, that is despicable :)
ReplyDeleteI want to hear more about your current educational pursuit... any upcoming performances?
Hi there. *waves* I'm new here. Nice to meet you. :)
ReplyDelete"to bore and TORCHER school children" Hahaha! :D
Oh, I love when we find old pieces of ourselves and see we had the same sense of humor even back then.
(or when I find old poetry from high school or college...oh the angst. It's hilarious.)
Have a great rest of your week,
Lola
Kim- no performances. I'm just studying.
ReplyDeleteLola- welcome! TORCHER was a priceless word. I think it's a noun meaning; Person who lights things on fire ;)
LOL, this is awesome. I like language as an instrument of DESTRUCTION.
ReplyDeleteYOu are so funny..Glad you never grow out of that.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Even then you had the sharpest wit!
